Kenneth Washburn was born in 1904 in New York. He was a professor from 1928-1950 at Cornell University as well as San Mateo Junior College in California. He worked as a muralists, wood carver, and sculpture. He has won numerous awards for his work.
This painting is an original oil on canvas signed on the lower right by Kenneth Washburn. The winter landscape is possibly in upstate New York. The back of the painting has an exhibition label and measures 28 x 38 including the frame. The painting is in very good condition.
