Wesley Elbridge Webber (1841-1941) He was born in Gardinar, MA and eventually died in Wollaston, Mass. He painted with J.J. Enneking and Frank Shapleigh. He exhibited at the Boston Art Club, and the Peabody Museum in Salem, He was also volunteered for the Civil War and sketched the surrender of General Lee.
The painting is an oil on canvas signed lower left, measuring 14 x 22. The painting in very good condition and is nicely framed.
