Theodore Jackman:  Theodore Jackman was born in Indiana in 1878.  Jackman studied in Paris and was active in New York City as an illustrator until he moved to Southern California.  During the 1920’s he had his own studio in Laguna Beach.  He painted portraits of Native Americans as well as Spanish California genre.  He sketched desert scenes with his friend F. Grayson.  He exhibited at the Southwest Museum, the Franklin Galleries in 1922.
