(1898-1978) was also a portrait painter of women in exquisite interior scenes. Marguerite was stricken with polio in her teenage years and learned she would use a wheelchair for the rest of her life. Undeterred by her circumstances, she moved to Boston to study at the Boston Museum of Fine Art, where she studied under Frederick Bosley and Edmond Tarbell. Marguerite was active in both teaching art and painting until she was 80.
